Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_002907.4(RECQL):c.798G>T (p.Gln266His), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.Q266H variant (also known as c.798G>T), located in coding exon 6 of the RECQL gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 798. The glutamine at codon 266 is replaced by histidine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
