NM_002519.3(NPAT):c.610A>C (p.Ser204Arg) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S204R variant (also known as c.610A>C), located in coding exon 7 of the NPAT gene, results from an A to C substitution at nucleotide position 610. The serine at codon 204 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
