NM_005751.5(AKAP9):c.5776G>A (p.Gly1926Ser) was classified as Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G1926S variant (also known as c.5776G>A), located in coding exon 24 of the AKAP9 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 5776. The glycine at codon 1926 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. The evidence for this gene-disease relationship is limited; therefore, the clinical significance of this alteration is unclear.
