Submitter rationale: The p.Q167H variant (also known as c.501A>C), located in coding exon 4 of the PRKAR1A gene, results from an A to C substitution at nucleotide position 501. The glutamine at codon 167 is replaced by histidine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species.
