Submitter rationale: The p.P138H variant (also known as c.413C>A), located in coding exon 5 of the MLH1 gene, results from a C to A substitution at nucleotide position 413. The proline at codon 138 is replaced by histidine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species.
