Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_000903.3(NQO1):c.320T>C (p.Phe107Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.F107S variant (also known as c.320T>C), located in coding exon 4 of the NQO1 gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 320. The phenylalanine at codon 107 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with highly dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
