Submitter rationale: This sequence change replaces glutamic acid, which is acidic and polar, with glutamine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 181 of the TPM1 protein (p.Glu181Gln). This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This missense change has been observed in individual(s) with clinical features of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (Invitae).
