Pathogenic for MHC class II deficiency — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_003721.4(RFXANK):c.481del (p.Leu161fs), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with RFXANK-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Leu161Cysfs*43) in the RFXANK gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in RFXANK are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 10803838, 16166641, 21908431).
