Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_006506.5(RASA2):c.847T>G (p.Ser283Ala), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S283A variant (also known as c.847T>G), located in coding exon 9 of the RASA2 gene, results from a T to G substitution at nucleotide position 847. The serine at codon 283 is replaced by alanine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
