Uncertain significance for Atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome — the classification assigned by Genomenon, Inc, Genomenon, Inc to NM_000204.5(CFI):c.251C>A (p.Thr84Lys), citing Genomenon Sequence Variant Interpretation Standards - Updated: CFI p.Thr84Lys (c.251C>A) is a missense variant that changes the amino acid at residue 84 from Threonine to Lysine. This variant has been observed in at least one proband affected with atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome (PMID:33841858). It is absent or not present at a significant frequency in gnomAD. In silico models agree that this variant is not damaging. In conclusion, we classify CFI p.Thr84Lys (c.251C>A) as a variant of unknown significance.
