This suggests that this residue is clinically significant, and that variants that disrupt this residue are likely to be disease-causing. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with NDUFS6-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change results in a frameshift in the NDUFS6 gene (p.Cys112Trpfs*27).
