Uncertain significance for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_023036.6(DNAI2):c.1804G>A (p.Glu602Lys), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.E602K variant (also known as c.1804G>A), located in coding exon 12 of the DNAI2 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 1804. The glutamic acid at codon 602 is replaced by lysine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
