NC_000005.9:g.(?_122682213)_(122758692_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Short-rib thoracic dysplasia 13 with or without polydactyly by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Isolated whole-gene deletions of CEP120 have not been reported in the literature. However, larger copy number events that include this gene have been reported (PMID: 30866059). A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the CEP120 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in CEP120 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 25251415, 27208211). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes.
