NM_006073.4(TRDN):c.91del (p.Val31fs) was classified as Pathogenic for Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia 1 by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with TRDN-related conditions. This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Val31Cysfs*2) in the TRDN gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. This variant occurs within the short isoform of TRDN, also known as Trisk-32. Loss-of-function variants in the short isoform of TRDN are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 10497235, 22422768, 26200674). This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency).
