Pathogenic for Long QT syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000007.13:g.(?_150653066)_(150655041_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with KCNH2-related conditions. This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 5 of the KCNH2 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in KCNH2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 10973849, 19862833).
