This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with MMAB-related conditions. This variant results in the deletion of part of exon one (c.-6424_57del) of the MMAB gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in MMAB are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 15781192, 16410054).
