Pathogenic for Fanconi anemia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000003.11:g.(?_10105466)_(10107188_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 21-24 of the FANCD2 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in FANCD2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 17436244). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with FANCD2-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
