Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_032520.5(GNPTG):c.607C>T (p.Gln203Ter), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This premature translational stop signal has been observed in individual(s) with mucolipidosis III gamma (PMID: 30507725, 30882951). This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Gln203*) in the GNPTG gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in GNPTG are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 19370764, 20301784).
