Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_015122.3(FCHO1):c.1383del (p.Ser462fs), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with FCHO1-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Ser462Profs*83) in the FCHO1 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in FCHO1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 30822429).
