Uncertain significance for Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_000455.5(STK11):c.835G>A (p.Gly279Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G279S variant (also known as c.835G>A), located in coding exon 6 of the STK11 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 835. The glycine at codon 279 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
