NM_004364.5(CEBPA):c.227A>T (p.Glu76Val) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.E76V variant (also known as c.227A>T), located in coding exon 1 of the CEBPA gene, results from an A to T substitution at nucleotide position 227. The glutamic acid at codon 76 is replaced by valine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
