NM_006506.5(RASA2):c.1872G>T (p.Lys624Asn) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K624N variant (also known as c.1872G>T), located in coding exon 19 of the RASA2 gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 1872. The lysine at codon 624 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
