NM_003803.4(MYOM1):c.3292G>A (p.Val1098Ile) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.V1098I variant (also known as c.3292G>A), located in coding exon 20 of the MYOM1 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 3292. The valine at codon 1098 is replaced by isoleucine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
