Submitter rationale: The GRIN2A c.146G>A (p.Arg49His) variant is a missense variant. A literature search was conducted for the gene, cDNA change, and amino acid change. No publications were identified through that search. The p.Arg49His variant is reported at a frequency of 0.000009 in the European (non-Finnish) population of the Genome Aggregation Database (version 2.1.1). This frequency is based on one allele in a region of good sequencing coverage, so the variant is presumed to be rare. Strehlow et al.
