NM_001211.6(BUB1B):c.1083T>G (p.Ser361Arg) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S361R variant (also known as c.1083T>G), located in coding exon 9 of the BUB1B gene, results from a T to G substitution at nucleotide position 1083. The serine at codon 361 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
