Pathogenic for Propionic acidemia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000013.10:g.(?_101020716)_(101101569_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is an out-of-frame deletion of the genomic region encompassing exons 19-21 of the PCCA gene. This is expected to create a premature translational stop signal and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with PCCA-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in PCCA are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 15464417).
