NC_000014.8:g.(?_51372090)_(51411141_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Glycogen storage disease, type VI by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in PYGL are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 9536091, 21646031). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with PYGL-related conditions. A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the PYGL gene has been identified. The boundaries of this event are unknown as the deletion extends beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes.
