Pathogenic for Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000016.9:g.(?_3827594)_(3832947_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant disrupts a region of the protein in which other variant(s) (p.Tyr650Phe, p.Leu604Pro) have been observed in individuals with CREBBP-related conditions (PMID: 25388907, 22591219). This suggests that this may be a clinically significant region of the CREBBP protein. This variant has been observed in individual(s) with clinical features of Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (Invitae). In at least one individual the variant was observed to be de novo. This variant is an in-frame deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 6-11 of the CREBBP gene. It preserves the integrity of the reading frame.
