NM_024426.6(WT1):c.725C>T (p.Ala242Val) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.A237V variant (also known as c.710C>T), located in coding exon 2 of the WT1 gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 710. The alanine at codon 237 is replaced by valine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
