Uncertain significance for Cystic fibrosis — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_000492.4(CFTR):c.2800G>A (p.Gly934Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G934S variant (also known as c.2800G>A), located in coding exon 17 of the CFTR gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 2800. The glycine at codon 934 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
