NM_000136.3(FANCC):c.80C>G (p.Thr27Ser) was classified as Uncertain significance for Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.T27S variant (also known as c.80C>G), located in coding exon 1 of the FANCC gene, results from a C to G substitution at nucleotide position 80. The threonine at codon 27 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
