This variant lies in the PMS2 gene (transcript NM_000535.7) at 4 bases into the intron immediately after coding-DNA position 353, deleting one base. Submitter rationale: This sequence change falls in intron 4 of the PMS2 gene. It does not directly change the encoded amino acid sequence of the PMS2 protein. It affects a nucleotide within the consensus splice site of the intron. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with PMS2-related conditions.
