Submitter rationale: The p.V2652E variant (also known as c.7955T>A), located in coding exon 16 of the BRCA2 gene, results from a T to A substitution at nucleotide position 7955. The valine at codon 2652 is replaced by glutamic acid, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This variant was reported as non-functional in a homology directed repair assay (Hu C et al. Am J Hum Genet, 2024 Mar;111:584-593).
