This variant lies in the WDR19 gene (transcript NM_025132.4) at coding-DNA position 2786, where G is replaced by A; at the protein level this means replaces arginine at residue 929 with histidine — a missense variant. Submitter rationale: This sequence change replaces arginine with histidine at codon 929 of the WDR19 protein (p.Arg929His). The arginine residue is highly conserved and there is a small physicochemical difference between arginine and histidine. This variant is present in population databases (rs201685269, ExAC 0.02%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with WDR19-related conditions.
