Uncertain significance for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_178452.6(DNAAF1):c.1590A>T (p.Arg530Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R530S variant (also known as c.1590A>T), located in coding exon 9 of the DNAAF1 gene, results from an A to T substitution at nucleotide position 1590. The arginine at codon 530 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
