NM_003803.4(MYOM1):c.1205G>A (p.Arg402Gln) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R402Q variant (also known as c.1205G>A), located in coding exon 8 of the MYOM1 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 1205. The arginine at codon 402 is replaced by glutamine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
