This variant lies in the TNFRSF1A gene (transcript NM_001065.4) at 6 bases into the intron immediately after coding-DNA position 739 through 9 bases into the intron immediately after coding-DNA position 739, deleting this region. Submitter rationale: This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change falls in intron 7 of the TNFRSF1A gene. It does not directly change the encoded amino acid sequence of the TNFRSF1A protein, but it affects a nucleotide within the consensus splice site of the intron. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with TNFRSF1A-related conditions.
