Figure 7 depicts a shrinkage plot for amoxicillin-clavulanate (seven to ten days) versus ceftriaxone (single dose) for treatment success. The random effects pooled rate difference for clinical success by day sixteen between amoxicillin-clavulanate (seven to ten days) and ceftriaxone (single dose) was estimated at three percent (ninety-five percent confidence interval: negative two and positive seven percent).
