Fall-onset Type
  • change in appetite, especially a craving for sweet or starchy foods (i.e., carbohydrates)
  • weight gain
  • laden paralysis (heavy feeling in the arms or legs)
  • decreased energy level
  • fatigue
  • hypersomnia
  • difficulty concentrating
  • irritability
  • increased fear of social rejection and/or avoidance of social situations

Spring-onset Type
  • decreased/poor appetite
  • weight loss
  • insomnia
