On an average day in 2011-2012, 4,840,640 people aged 18 to 25 used alcohol, 1,187,878 being 18 to 20 and 3,652,762 being 21 to 25. 3,179,408 people aged 18 to 25 used marijuana, 57,304 used heroin, 51,319 used cocaine, 46,179 used hallucinogens, and 17,868 used inhalants.
