Malignant mesothelioma in a 55-year-old man. Posteroanterior (A) and lateral (B) chest radiographs show a pleural effusion associated with a lobulated mass in the lateral and antereior portion of the left hemithorax (arrows). CT scan with intravenous contrast material (C) reveals enhanced pleural neoplasm (arrow) and nonenhanced pleural effusion (arrowhead). Inhomogeneous mass (M) is seen to invade anterior mediastinal fat. Circumferential involvement of left hemithorax is well demonstrated.
