FIGO Stage*
ITumor confined to corpus uteri.
IATumor limited to endometrium.
IBTumor invades up to or less than one half of the myometrium.
ICTumor invades to more than one half of the myometrium.
IITumor invades cervix, but does not extend beyond uterus.
IIAEndocervical glandular involvement only.
IIBCervical stromal invasion.
IIILocal and/or regional spread as specified in T3a, T3b, N1, and
FIGO IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC below.
IIIATumor involves serosa and/or adnexae (direct extension or metastasis) and/or cancer cells in ascites or peritoneal washings.
IIIBVaginal involvement (direct extension or metastasis).
IIICMetastasis to the pelvic and/or para-aortic lymph nodes.
IVATumor invades bladder mucosa and/or bowel mucosa.
IVBDistant metastasis (Excluding metastasis to vagina, pelvic serosa, or adnexae. Including metastasis to intra-abdominal lymph nodes other than para-aortic and/or inguinal lymph nodes).

Each staging category is subdivided into histologic grade 1, 2, or 3.
