The query, when translated in reading frame 2 (highlighted by a rectangle) up to nucleotide 268, is similar to only the first 89 amino acids of the database protein AAL71647.1. The translation of the query needs to be shifted to reading frame 1 (highlighted by an oval) to find similarity to the rest of the protein sequence.
