A) For the thallium flux experiments (EC50 = 160 nM, 122.6%), the curve was fit to triplicate data sets normalized to the thallium flux evoked by the addition of an 80 mM concentration of the non-selective GIRK activator, methyl pentanediol (MPD). B) For the voltage-clamp experiments (EC50 = 540 nM, 94.5%) the curve was fit to data obtained from nine individual cells. The data were normalized to the amplitude of the barium-sensitive current evoked by a maximally effective concentration of ML297 on each cell. Error bars represent S.E.M. (AID 623952 and AID 623977).
