Description

Candidatus Pelagisphaera phototrophica ISCC 53 (isolate F3) was isolated from the Eastern Mediterranean Sea using the Dilution to Extinction method, as part of a larger bacteria-isolation project lead by Dr. Laura Steindler. The genome of this isolate was assembled from the monoculture.
