Description

Chelatococcus sp. CO-6, isolated from Shengli Oilfield, is a crude oil degrading bacterium, which can use crude oil as the sole source of carbon and energy. A significant 90% removal rate can be approached with an initial concentration of 50 mg/L crude oil.
