This study is conducted to investigate the changes of antibiotic susceptibility over time under Vancomycin treatment using Staphylococcus aureus as a model organism. S. aureus is treated with increasing concentrations of Vancomycin and sensitivity/resistance for additional 7 drugs were quantified. Additionally, whole-exome sequencing is done in order to delineate convergent/divergent mutational patterns in Vancomycin intermediate-resistant strains.
