This study uses RNA seq data to compare the gene expression between two Malaysian rubber clones RRIM 2025 and RRIM 929 in response to Oidium heveae infection. Based on the field observation records released by Malaysian Rubber Board, RRIM 2025 is moderately resistant to Oidium heveae infection whereas RRIM 929 is susceptible. The Differential gene expression analysis was used to identify the uniquely expressed genes in rubber clones resistant to Oidium heveae infection.
