Lablung-dual RNA seq

Project related to host-microbe interaction, and about differential gene expression of host-microbe interaction. The aim of this study was to look at the influence of healthy and diseased primary lung cells on the probiotic strain, as well as effect of probiotic strain on both cell types (healthy and diseased primary lung cells) using dual RNA sequencing. This means that we had samples of RNA isolated from 1. human cell and microbs together, 2. only microbes and 3. only human cells In order to get informmation about global gene expression of host-microb interaction we performed analysis of differential gene expression for bacteria and eucariotic cell related to host-microb interaction. We wanted to know which genes are differentily expressed in probiotic strain when were incubated alone and in contact with eucariotic cell (DHBE-Diseased Human Bronchial Epithelial Cells or NHBE-Normal Human Bronchial Epithelial Cells). Also we wanted to know which genes are differentily expressed in eucariotic cell (DHBE or NHBE) when they were grown alone and in contact with probiotic strain.
