Here we describe an Enterovirus E (EV-E) genome from sewage in Nigeria. It show that a third EV genome architecture might exist in which a version of the upstream (UP) ORF (called FUP here) contains just 49Aas (i.e 147nt) and is fused to the amino terminal of the polyprotein ORF (ppORF) described classically.
